Continuous Improvement Journey believes in 5 fundamentals that will bring about the transformation organizations would give anything to achieve.

1. Implementing change should follow a system thinking approach.
2. Variation within an organization’s system and processes must fully be understood before change is implemented.
3. The behavior and psychology of the people in your organization must be understood for healthy and long lasting change to occur.
4. A total transformation of traditional management methods will be required as taught by W. Edwards Deming.
5. Continuous improvement principles must not overshadow the urgency for innovation.
